Alycia Gardner joined the Cichowski lab as a postdoctoral research fellow in January 2022. She earned her PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of South Florida and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, studying the role of dendritic cells during treatment with immunotherapy. In the Cichowski Lab, Alycia is working to identify strategies to combine immunotherapy with targeted agents to improve responses for patients with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), and to understand the ways that targeted agents shape immune responses in TNBC. Outside the lab, she enjoys trying out recipes and exploring new areas of Boston.
