Patrick joined the lab as a graduate student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) PhD program in the fall of 2018. He is studying the role of the epigenetic regulator, EZH2 of PRC2, on colorectal cancer development and progression, and examining combination therapies that synergize with EZH2 inhibition. He recently successfully defended his thesis, and is now a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. Outside of the lab, he is interested in outreach, mentoring, rock climbing, and throwing surprise parties for his grad student cohort.
